This year, I'm making my December Daily within Project Life. That is lucky, because last year my DD "mini" album ended up being 52 pages! And I will have a lot more photos this year. Christmas is my favorite time of the year and I'm trying to squeeze in as much fun and as many activities as I can during these merry weeks.
The collection above is from the Christmas market days at the Royal Mews in Stockholm. Stepping into the stables to draw that wonderful scent of horses and hay into the lungs... aaah. Many merry memories! It may be years since I last took a horse ride but this kind of environment still puts a big smile on my face.
The collection below is from a walk through the city with DH, looking at all the gorgeous holiday displays in the shop's windows. We ended up at a bistro for a glass of wine.
As usual, I'm exclusively using Instagram pics for December Daily and Project Life (so you can follow me on Instagram if you'd like to see more DD photos). I love that format. Naturally, it's a risk that those images will look very dated in the future when Instagram might not be so trendy and fresh anymore. That's why I never take the photos within the app and always keep the original photo, without the square format and the filters. That leaves me every option to scrap my favorite photos again in the future, in other formats.
I'm using my home made Studio Calico December Daily kit for the PL album. With all the photos, that won't be enough for my needs so I bought another pack of pretty papers from the Wonderland collection and other Christmassy stuff at Two Peas' Black Friday sale. The goodie box arrived yesterday, so now I can finish my foundation pages.
For inspiration, I follow Ali Edwards' blog and Shimelle's wonderful yearly event Journal Your Christmas.
Are you making a December Daily project this year?
Looks like you are having a great Christmas so far! Looking froward to seeing how you album comes together!
