Welcome to my special spot on the Internet. This place is meant to inspire and guide you through the hot trends and fresh ideas of papercrafting.
Read on to find out more about me, explore my other web sites. :)
I am Margareta Carlsson from Stockholm, Sweden. I am married with no kids but two shelter cat sisters found our hearts more than 10 years ago. Sadly, we had to say goodbye to one of them the day before Christmas Eve in 2014. Her kidneys finally failed her.
My big loves that all begin with the letter C: Colors. Cats. Mr. Carlsson. The City (any big city, such as London, Paris, New York, Barcelona, Copenhagen, Rome and of course Stockholm).
Weak spots: Washi tape, vellum, glitter, enamel dots and anything in pink and gold. I love it and I have to have it! ;)
Surprising fact: I don't do extensive journaling on my scrapbook pages, despite that I used to work as a copywriter, and despite that I was telling long stories by putting a pen to a paper (mostly my parents books - oops!) before I could even write - or read! My life has always centered around the written word, stories and literature. But when it comes to scrapbooking, it is the visual aspect and the design that is my main focus. I have discovered that stories can be told visually, too. Not only with words.
Papercrafting (and crafts in general) has always been a big part of my life, but I only discovered scrapbooking in 2003, the same year that we brought home our cats from the shelter. I was a slow starter on scrapbooking but, about 4 or 5 years ago, I discovered that scrapbooking supplies and designs are following fashion and home decor trends. Then, my enthusiasm soon grew into an obsession. Since then, pretty much everything in my life is about scrapbooking, cardmaking and memory keeping in general, and I love playing with the trends.
I am the founder of several online papercrafting services, together with my husband Johan who is helping me with the technical part. Almost everything on these web sites is free for you to use and explore:
I am also taking the first steps on a new adventure, my own digital designs - Poppy Pops!
Click on any of the icons in the bar at the bottom of this page: Facebook, Twitter and Instagram are the fastest way to reach me with the exception of sending a plain old e-mail, which would probably reach me even faster. Send it to: email@example.com
I would love to hear from you! :)

My little furballs inspired my online handle 'paperpilekitten' because they have always loved to place their furry butts on my pretty papers while I'm scrapping. LOL! Place some piles of paper anywhere (or so called 'cat traps' = empty card board boxes that came with your online orders of scrap supplies) and I promise that within minutes you will have a cat sitting in that very spot. :D
Here is our own original paperpilekitten showing us how to sit gracefully on a big pile of patterned paper. Four different styles. LOL
