If you're a 7 Gypsies fan like me, here are some big news for you: Starting Monday October 10, the Gypsy Journal blog will begin to post instructions to make the most amazing 7 Gypsies project (see the pic above)! This event will last for a whole month! I'm so looking forward to follow this Artist Advent happening! I guess we'll get some tips and new techniques along the way.
There's a limited edition kit from 7 Gypsies that contain all you need for the project and can be bought from BlueMoonScrapbooking. If you're like me, you probably have a lot of the kit content in your stash and then you'll just have to add the things you don't have (or find similar items to substitute), so here's the content of that kit:

Vintage Mini Clip Receipt Holder - 1 Receipt Holder

Miniature Keys in 3 different designs: Antique Brass - Full Package
Binding Ring: Ring Dangles: Crystal - Full Package (Seems like only BlueMoonScrapbooking have these in stock.)

Hardware: Fortune - Full Package. This particular hardware item seems hard to find in stores but I have substituted it with another hardware piece pack above. The bird piece is kind of similar to the fortune piece that has wings on it. I suppose that you get the original Fortune package when you buy the kit!

Display Trim Studs: Pyramid: Antique Brass - Full Package

Apothecary Bottles: Clear 4 pcs - Full Package
Gaffer Tape - Venice - 1 Roll of Tape (Only TwoPeasInABucket.com
have this item in stock right now.)

Mini Label Sticker: Naked Black - 1 Sheet of Labels

ATC Photo Display Kit: Tags: Gypsy - Full Package

Collage Tissue: Paris - 1 Sheet of Tissue
Chipboard Alpha & Number: Paddington - Full Package (In stock at TwoPeasInABucket.com
and BlueMoonScrapbooking.)
Tag Kit: Affirmations - Full Package

Lille: Clearstamp - Full Stamp

Lille 6x6 Paper Pack - 1 sheet each paper style
You will also need a few more things like inks, scissors, glossy accents etc., so check your stash for these products (or similar): here's a list of those extra items.
You can find the things from this kit, and the extra stuff, at BlueMoonScrapbooking, Scrapbook.com, TwoPeasInABucket.com
or at Simon Says Stamp. None of the stores have every item in stock right now (except for the full kit that you can pick up at BlueMoonScrapbooking) but you can find almost everything if you combine them, except for the Fortune Hardware that I substituted. Almost everything could be substituted with other products. Here are a couple examples:

Corked vials from Tim Holtz.

Labels from Tim Holtz or other brands. Or why not stamp the labels? Hattie Remember stamps from My Mind's Eye have lots of labels to choose from!
So just take a look at what's already in your stash and play along. Can't wait until next Monday! :)
